This program is perfect for fourth through sixth graders and will explore what an estuary is, why is it called the nursery of the sea, what creatures live in an estuary, and how an estuary is like a cereal box. These questions will be answered in a live,hands-on presentation with UNH Marine Docents. Participants will assist in testing water salinity, identifying estuarine bird calls, and handling a live horseshoe crab. Bring a picnic blanket or chair to enjoy the presentation.
