Can you read 1,000 books to your child? Reading to your children every day is the most important thing you can do to prepare them to read independently. This a is a very achievable goal! If you read just one book a day, you will have read 1,000 books in less than three years. Any child aged 0 to 5 can participate.
How to Participate:
- Sign up online or at the Pelham Public Library and get a reading log.
- Read with your child and mark the log for each book.
- Once you have read 100 books bring the log to the library and choose a small prize. You can also enter the raffle!
- Repeat until you have reached 1,000 books.
Any child aged 0 to 5 can participate.
All books count, even if you read them over and over again!
